Established in Tokyo in 1905. Initially mainly sold red ink“SHUNIKU” and stamp pads,
manufacturing products and producing ink under the brand name “Nikko Jirushi.” Was
one of the first in the Japanese ink and stamp industry to announce products with a focus
on design, and received the industry’s first Good Design Award. Has recently been
announcing recompositioned, repackaged versions of quality existing designs, as well as
products made with traditional craft materials from around Japan.
